MethodsThis pilot project used a single group descriptive study design with pre-and posttests to determine the feasibility and acceptability of using MI with feedback in a single clinical appointment with a convenience sample (N= 18), in an inner city, university-based clinic. The inclusion criteria for the project included participants who were 13–24 years old, had documented HIV infection, and were able to read English and respond to questions on a computer with minimal assistance. Participant exclusion criteria included any severe mental disorder as diagnosed by the attending physician.
