This book ends with a list of symbols, an author index, and a subject index. This book is very lucid, carefully written, and skillfully organized. It is a verygood book. One thing that would make this type of book more valuable would be aninstructors manual that gave guidance to the instructor on how to teach this materialas well as help in solving some of the problems. Anything that makes a book easy touse for teaching purposes makes it an even more valuable book. Also, a more extensivelist of symbols would have been helpful.The only error I found was in the list of symbols. The definitions of LAN andSLAN are on page 341, not 344. Also, the definition on page 262 of a statisticalproblem could be made more detailed.
