This lecture notes arose out of a mini-course I taught in January 2013 at Instituto Nacional de Matematica pura e Aplicada (IMPA) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In these lecture notes I do not always give all the details of the proofs, nor do I prove all the results in their greatest generality. A more detailed treatment of most of these topics can be found in Zeitouni’s lecture notes on RWRE [Zei04].
