In this paper we present modeling of endovascular treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysm. We describe a simple, one-dimensional model, discuss the well posedness of the corresponding initial-boundary value problem, and present numerical simulations, which suggest an improvement in the design of stents used in treatment.
