. A novel controlled attenuation parameter (CAP) has been developed for Fibroscan (R) to assess liver steatosis, simultaneously with liver stiffness measurement (LSM). We assessed CAP diagnostic accuracy in a large cohort of patients with chronic hepatitis C (CHC) virus.
