An optimization scheme to AODV protocol based on location information in Ad-hoc networks is examined and pro-posed.This scheme controls the transmission power and uses regional broadcast.Results obtained by Network Simulation(NS) show that the optimized AODV scheme performs effectively in enhancing packet transfer rate and shortening network time delay,mean-while it avoids affecting other Ad hoc network parameters.
