A chromosome 14q+ was found in the tumor cells of a patient with sporadic, bilateral retino‐blastoma. Eighty‐six per cent of the metaphases contained the marker. Some metaphases showed a chromosome 6q— in addition. The question of the specificity of such markers in lymphoid malignancies is raised.
