Three new diterpenes were isolated from the brown alga Bifurcaria bifurcata together with elegandiol and eleganolone. The new compounds are all formally derived from eleganolone. This is the first report on cyclic diterpenoids from Bifurcaria. The structures were established by spectroscopic methods.
