Toshiba Medical Systems Europe announced the commerciai availability of two new pediatric transducers for the PowerVision 6000 ultrasound system. Both transducers feature wide band multi frequency technology, allowing the selection of optimal scan frequencies for various pediatric applications. Handling of the probes is especially easy due to the lightweight, small footprint and flexible cables. Both transducers have been designed and manufactured by Toshiba Medical Systems Company.
