We prove that a normalized holomorphic motion of a closed setEis induced by a holomorphic map into the Teichmüller space ofE, denoted byT(E), if and only if it can be extended to a normalized continuous motion of the Riemann sphere. We also prove that the extension can be chosen to have additional properties.
