AbstractThe third and final preliminary report on work in the Burquc/Ruwaysid region of eastern Jordan presents an account of results achieved in the 1991 field season. This season was spent making a detailed investigation of areas east and south of Qasr Burquc. Excavations were carried out at two sites with complex water harvesting systems, and at a prehistoric camp in the wadi Ruwaysid.
