The article presents a case study of a male infant with Down syndrome, who received nasogastric milk feeding due to serious heart disease, cleft lip and palate, in Nagasaki, Japan. The baby undergone temporizing surgery for heart disease during his 25th days of age. To treat his Down syndrome, doctors introduce him to early oral management.
