In this paper, we developed a new structure of the magnetic fluid linear pump. The magnetic field could be focused effectively in the tube by using permalloy yoke. The magnetic re- luctance could be reduced remarkably so that we could reduce de- vice size up to 37.8% and increase pumping pressure up to 144.8%. The optimum width of the yoke was designed and compared with measurements.
