对一种新型的光纤长周期光栅(LPG)腔衰荡折射率传感器进行了探索性研究。通过测量不同环境折射率水平下的衰荡曲线，研究了LPG传感器的性能。实验结果表明，利用该传感装置可以有效地检测1.35-1.43区域的折射率变化。
An exploratory study on a novel fiber long-period grating (LPG) cavity ring-down refractive index sensor is conducted. By detecting the ring-down curves at different ambient refractive index levels, the performances of the LPG sensor are investigated. The experimental results demonstrate by using this sensing setup the change of the refractive index in 1.35-1.43 region could be effectively detected.
