Blogs are currently an emerging educational tool in formal learning, along with Wikis, social networking or educational networks. A new approach where learning has taken a closer relationship with new ways of teaching and learning has been developed. Our work aims to analyze, first, what kind of blogs are used in the classroom and second what are the goals these edublogs are given in non-university levels of education in our country. For this study a sample of 374 educational blogs has been taken from the blog directories Blogs Science and Education of Spain, Aulablog and Blogfesores. We think that these directories cover a wide range of Edublogs.
