Introduction B tevens Johnson syndrome is an acute systemic disease that can be fatal. The patient with severe involvement of-ten requires intensive multispecialty care. This review of the long-term ophthalmologic com-plications of Stevens-Johnson syn-drome intends to familiarize the pediatrician with the conditions and emphasize the importance of early ophthalmologic consulta-tion with intensive management of the ocular complications in an attempt to avoid permanent vi-sual loss.
