A collection of 149 specimens of Pauropoda (Myriapoda) from southeast Asia was studied and 31 species were identified. Twenty-six of them are new to science and are described below, three of them belonging to a new genus in Pauropodidae, Kionopauropus. The new species belong to seven genera in four families: Pauropodidae: Decapauropus rectus sp. n., D. bispinus sp. n., D. linguoides sp. n., D. minuscellus sp. n., D. sphenoides sp. n., D. sulawesicus sp. n., D. conus sp. n., D. scutulatus sp. n., D. brevis sp. n., D. turgidus sp. n., Kionopauropus sumatrensis sp. n., K. philippinensis sp. n., K. parabole sp. n., Hemipauropus macropus sp. n., Colinauropodidae: Colinauropus haginoi sp. n.; Brachypauropodidae: Borneopauropus curtipes sp. n.; Eurypauropodidae: Samarangopus amplissimus sp. n. (the largest pauropod ever found), S. condylus sp. n., S. bitriangulus sp. n., S. brachys sp. n., S. gibbus sp. n., S. cylindratus sp. n., S. tesselatus sp. n., S. canalis sp. n.; Sphaeropauropodidae: Sphaeropauropus curvus sp. n.; S. tricuspis sp. n. Pauropoda are reported for the first time from Sumatra, Sulawesi and Halmahera. Most species in this collection have not been found elsewhere indicating a high degree of endemism. The ranges of Borneopauropus and Hemipauropus are considerably widened.
