This paper investigates the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) legitimately monitoring communication system. Specifically, a legitimate full-duplex (FD) UAV monitor eavesdrops the information sent by a suspicious ground transmitter while jams the suspicious receiver simultaneously. Considering the limited flight time, we jointly design the trajectory of UAV and adaptively control the jamming power on the suspicious link to maximize the average achievable surveillance rate (AASR). We formulate the optimization problem based on the surveillance state in different flying phases and propose a two-stage iterative algorithm with successive convex approximation (SCA) and block coordinate descent (BCD) methods to obtain an efficient suboptimal solution. The simulation results validate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed scheme comparing with the traditional method.
