Movie (movie1.mov) showing intracellular potassium as determined by fluorescence of PBFI. Each image was acquired as the ratio between florescence emission at 500 nm excited at 340 nm and 380 nm. The resulting image was pseudo-colorized to indicate the ratio according to the spectrum shown in Figure 8. Cells were imaged every 0.5 minutes and the movie is shown at 5 frames per second (2.5 actual minutes per second).
