We use the method of deleted joins to prove that ifN(j− 1) − 1 ≥M(p− 1) +p(S− 1), then any coloring of theS-subsets of anN-set byMcolors must yield ap-tuple ofS-subsets having the same color,andsuch that the intersection of anyjof the sets is empty.
