The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB), a nonprofit federation of 29 research societies representing 130,000 scientists, hosts an annual Science Research Conferences (SRC) series. These conferences allow scientists to meet in a relaxing, collegial atmosphere and explore new approaches to current research areas.This year, the Conference on Nutrient Sensing and Metabolic Signaling was held August 10–11. The meeting was held virtually, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The conference featured a mixture of live and prerecorded videos, as well as virtual roundtable discussions sessions, a poster hall, and a question-and-answer platform.
