This paper presents a simple and efficient method for finding all characteristic curves of piecewise-linear resistive circuits using integer programming. In this method, the problem of finding all characteristic curves is formulated as a mixed integer programming problem, and it is solved by an integer programming solver CPLEX. It is shown that the proposed method can be implemented easily without writing complicated programs. It is also shown that all characteristic curves are obtained by solving a mixed integer programming problem only once. Numerical examples are given to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method.
