In this paper, we study the Floyd-Auslander system and its multiple recurrent properties. Let (X, T) be the Floyd-Auslander system, and let π: X→ Y be the factor map from (X, T) to an odometer (Y, S). We show that there exists a residual subset Y 0 of Y such that for each y∈ Y 0, π− 1 (y) is a singleton which is a multiple recurrent point, and for y∈ Y∖ Y 0, each point in π− 1 (y) is not a 2-multiple-recurrent point.
