It is shown that Markov invariant tensor fields on the manifold of probability distributions are closed under the operations of raising and lowering indices with respect to the Fisher metric. As a result, every (r,s)-type Markov invariant tensor field can be obtained by raising indices of some-type Markov invariant tensor field.
