The relationship between Adult Children and Grandchildren of Alcoholics (ACGAs) reported characteristics and their degree of treatment was analyzed. Common characteristics of ACGAs were assessed by the characteristics of Co-dependence Inventory (CCI), a strong measure with seven dimensions and tested by reliability, factor and convergent validity analyses. Statistically significant correlations were discovered between degree of treatment and two subscales of the CCI (takes self overly seriously and irresponsible behavior).
