In the version of this article initially published, the table in the “Fresh lysis buffer” section of “Reagent setup” showed incorrect information in the NaCl row: the stock concentration is 5 M, not 4 M, and the volume is 100 µL, not 125 µL. A Critical Step was missing after Step 13 in the Procedure:“Make sure that the cells are well re-suspended…”. Steps 21–23 omitted shaking instructions. In addition, Step 21 should have ended with “Keep Control 1 incubating along with digestion reactions without adding the enzyme”. In Step 43, the centrifuging time should have read 2 minutes instead of 30. Step 45 should have ended with “To increase the yield, leave the samples to dissolve at 4 C overnight”. The second Critical Step in Step 52 was incomplete. Step 72 should have ended with “In indexed Tri-C samples, length should increase accordingly from 450 bp sonication product”. In Step 126, the two instances of “µg” should have been “ng”. Finally, Step 153 should not have ended with “and mix”. The errors have been corrected in the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
