Abstract In Cs3H(SeO4)2 and Cs3H0 3D0 7(SeO4)2 crystals dielectric constant and conductivity were measured. The symmetry and crystal structure of the phases I, II and III, in Cs3H(SeO4)2 were determined by means of X-ray examination. The positional proton disorder arising in the trigonal phase I was shown to differ in principle from the proton disordering between the two possible sites in the hydrogen bond.
