A polarized129Xe solid has been developed as a host material in order to polarize implanted unstable nuclei (11Be) through the cross polarization method. Up to now, 1% of polarization has been realized with about 80 mg of129Xe solid. An experiment to confirm the feasibility of implanting11Be atoms from high-energy heavy ion reaction in the Xe stopper has been successfully carried out.
