An accurate knowledge of the parton distribution functions (PDFs) plays a critical role for the precision tests of the Standard Model (SM) and impact the theory predictions of beyond SM production. ThexFitterproject provides a unique open-source software framework for the determination of the proton PDFs and the interpretation of experimental measurements in the context of QCD. The latestxFittersoftware release includes many new features and improvements. We also highlight recent results obtained usingxFitter, as well as novel studies performed by thexFitterteam.
