We study outer conjugacy for aperiodic automorphisms of UHFC∗-algebras. We show the existence of an action on the universal UHF algebra which is absorbing, via tensor product. For product actions we provide an explicit criterion for the action to be absorbing. This criterion involves the eventual uniform distribution, mod 1, of the eigenvalues of the approximating unitaries.
