Since the Great East Japan Ear thquake occurred on March 11th, 2011, the NHK Broadcasting Culture Research Institute has been conducting various research and studies on the 3/11 disaster and the media from diverse viewpoints, which have been reported in the Institute’s monthly magazine, The NHK Monthly Report on Broadcast Research. Of those reports, ten articles are selected to be carried again for this annual report.
