Choriocarcinoma is a relatively rare malignant neoplasm that often arises from gestational trophoblastic tissue1. In the urothelial tract, choriocarcinoma usually occurs in the urinary bladder2. We report a case of choriocarcinoma of the ureter which had a very aggressive clinical course, and which was associated with transitional cell carcinoma in-situ. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case reported in the English language literature.
