Taking the design of Xilaile International Life Plaza for example,this paper explored the planning and design concepts of commercial complex from the perspectives of environmental analysis,design conception,design expression and technical strategy,proposed design techniques and planning concepts according to actual conditions of the planning site.In addition,the harmonious coexistence among buildings,humanities,and environment was stressed to create a commercial complex with outstanding characteristics and reasonable functions that keeps in harmony with the city environment.
