Pangxidong deposit is one of the typical altered cataclastic rock type Ag(Au) deposit in the Northwest Guangdong province. It is controled by fracture in the contact zone between Precambrian system and Lower Palaeozoic migmatitic gneiss and Yanshanian granite. Ore bodies occur absolutely in fractural zone as veins, lens. Researches on the deposit indicate that spatial location of ore bodies is obviously controled by change of the ore-controling fraclure's morphology and occurrance. Intersection or merge of several fractares causes generally ore bodies enlarging or thickening. Distribution of ore bodies is related to particular tectonites and their zonation within the fractural zone.
