综述了水面舰艇的船型生成和几何表示方法。传统的船舶设计方法已不能适应新要求、新技术的要求，各种新的设计方法应运而生，并分析了各种方法的优缺点。最后展望了船型生成和几何表示方法研究的发展趋势，即将与基于仿真的设计(SBD)技术(以性能驱动设计为目标)和多学科设计优化(MDO)理论等新方法相结合。
An overview on hull form generations and geometric representation methods of surface naval ship are presented in this paper. Traditional ship design method can't accommodate itself to the new requirements and new technologies,various new methods are developed to improve it,and their relative merits are analyzed. Lastly,the development trend of studying on the hull form generations and geometric representation methods is prospected,that it will be integrated with new methods such as Simulation Based Design( SBD) technology( aimed at performance drive design) and Multidisciplinary Design Optimization( MDO) theory.
