This invention relates to an improved light metal plate-connected flat joist truss and, more specifically, to a truss of the type aforementioned wherein novel webs are used characterized by rounded load-transfer surfaces on both ends that adjoin one another in a zigzag pattern while mating in strut-forming relation with the parallel chordal elements supported thereby so as to produce uniform essentially line contact between all abutting surfaces.
