Kawasaki disease [mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome] was first reported in Japan in 1967. Since then it was reported from the USA, South Korea, Greece, Canada, Australia, Scandinavia and Scotland. Two cases of Kawasaki disease are presented from Kuwait and believed to be the 1st report of the disease from the Arab world.
