In this paper, we study the relation between local spectral properties of the linear operatorsRSandSR. We show thatRSandSRshare the same local spectral propertiesSVEP, (β), (δ) and decomposability. We also show thatRSis subscalar if and only ifSRis subscalar. We recapture some known results on spectral properties of Aluthge transforms.
