Little Crow in the Northern Territory.-The Li. ttle Crow (GorvUJ; bennetti) is not included in HT Condon, s recent'List of the Birds of the Northern Territorr (SA Natu,... raUst, 23 (I), 8· 10, 1945). In November 1905, William Stalker collected a male at Alexandria, which has been re~ orded by Collingwood Ingram (lb~, ser. 9, vol. 3, 618, 1909), and this is apparently the small Crow tabulated by Col. R. Meinerlz. hagen (Novitates Zoologicae~ xxxrn, 120, 1926). Alexandria. and Tundi--eji Waterholes are the furthest north localities that the species is known to inhabit in the State. Capt. SA White (Tratzs. RmJal Soc. Sth. Au. st., XXXVIII, 438; 1914) has recorded it from the Central High-] ands, and AG Campbell (E? n· u, 29, 104, 1929) lists a male from CbarJotte Waters. The latter specimen.. owing to its large size1 should he re-examined. In the South Australian Museum is a male skin (no. B13727) which was, I believe, taken by Prof. J. B. Cleland, at Macdonald Downs, Central Australia, on September 6, 1930.
