Flow pattern, pressure drop, void fraction, and phase velocity are measured for N 2 -R113 adiabatic gas-liquid two-phase flow in extremely narrow channels with a thickness of 5-100 μm between horizontal parallel plates. It is clarified from the experiments that the friction multiplier of two-phase flow is smaller than Chisholm's correlation applied for normal-sized channels, and that the void fraction becomes smaller as the channel becomes narrower. Empirical correlations are proposed
