Postpartum HemorrhageThe major causes of postpartum hemorrhage are uterine atony, lacerations, retained placenta or clots, and clotting factor deficiency. Uterine massage, oxytocin, and methylergonovine are the main treatments, along with blood transfusion and cardiovascular support.
