The particle induced X-ray emission (PIXE) is a method of elemental analysis in which an accelerator-accelerated MeV ion beam is irradiated to a target and the characteristic X-rays generated are detected by a detector. PIXE is known as a method that can be used for elemental analysis in various fields because of its high sensitivity and ability to analyze multiple elements simultaneously. We employed GUPIX, a spectral analysis software widely used worldwide, as a method of quantification from the PIXE analysis method. In addition, the resonance peak of the nuclear reaction was used to calibrate the proton energy of the tandem accelerator. This analytical technique is known as particle induced Gamma-ray emission (PIGE), which uses the resonance peak of the 27Al(p,p'γ)27Al reaction to confirm the detailed proton energy. The experimental results show that the actual proton energy is about 3.4 - 3.6 % higher than the energy read by the GVM (Generating Voltmeter) device. Rock standard sample JLk-1 was used to examine whether uncertainty in proton energy affects the quantitative values. For the standardized concrete sample containing Cs, the beam spot of the proton beam was checked and the sample position was adjusted to obtain the concentration distribution on the same cross section of the sample in order to evaluate the Cs concentration distribution on the same cross section of the sample. As a result, we obtained a prospect to obtain the concentration distribution of Cs on the same crosssection by properly identifying the beam spot.
