We study transport properties through a physically defined silicon triangular triple quantum dot (QD). The triangular triple QD is the unit cell of hexagonal close packing structure and therefore, advantageous for large qubit integration which is necessary for realizing quantum computers. In addition, when used as an exchange-only qubit, a triangular array is favorable for qubit controllability because it has three axes for controlling qubit. We measure current flowing through the triangular triple QD at a temperature of 300 mK and observe Pauli spin blockade in two QDs of the triple QD, where the current is suppressed depending on spin states in the QDs. This phenomenon enables initialization and spin readout, which is useful for future realization of qubits and study of spin-related physics. (C) 2020 The Japan Society of Applied Physics
