Cu-W composities are hard to be used widely as heat sinks in the microelectronic industry due to their difficultdeformabilty. In order to improve the plastic performance of the Cu-W composites, the activation elements wereadded in the W skeletons. The variation of microstructure, hardness and electrical conductivity of the Cu-Wcomposites with activated elements were studied after hot deformation. The results show that the metallurgical Cu/W interface is obtained after the addition of Cr, Ti elements, this higher interfacial bond strength can resist tothe shear stress emerged in the deformation, and these Cu-W composites exhibit good deformability at 700 °C. And the hardness of these composites increases with increasing the deformation ratio, and their electricalconductivity decreases slightly when the deformation ratio is below 50%.
