Reports on reaction of patients with psoriasis to antimalarial drugs are conflicting. Improvement has been reported by some observers (3, 4, 7, 10) while others report no improvement (1, 6). The majority, however, observed exacerbation in a considerable number of patients, some of whom developed new lesions, others generalized erythro-dermia (5, 8, 11, 12), some demonstrated lesions of pustular psoriasis (9) for the first time.
