Three of the most prominent people in the sociology of religion in Britain, Grace Davie, Paul Heelas and Linda Woodhead, have recently put together a book, Predicting Religion. Christian, Secular and Alternative Futures. The book contains articles by many well-known scholars, people such as Jose Casanova, David Martin, Steve Bruce and Bryan Wilson. It also contains essays by a variety of younger scholars who come to the topic of the future of religion from various perspectives. The themes of this book are well worth contemplation.
