Thirty—one years ago I met Harold Edgerton. I was a tea boy at the Royal Aircraft Establishment at Farnborough. Harold Edgerton had come over to RAE to help build a huge strobe lamp that we could put in a bomber and photograph at night how badly our bombs had missed their target.
