当大环内酯类抗生素白环素加入到维尼沙星UC-2560(WC-3627)的发酵中时，其抗菌活性逐渐丧失。该生物转化失活产物经分离鉴定为2，3-二氢白环素。
The macrolide antibiotic albocycline, when added to the fermentations of S. venezuelae UC-2560 (WC-3627) underwent a gradual loss of antimicrobial activity. The inactive product of this biotransformation was isolated from the fermentations and was shown to be 2,3-dihydroalbocycline.
