A familial appearance of multifocal ventricular prematuresystoles without other signs of heart disease has been mentioned. In 2 of the 3 sisters, Adams-Stokes seizures occurred, and one of them died suddenly. The immediate cause of these attacks is attributed to ventricular tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation. The etiology of the condition is quite unknown. A congenital disorder of myocardial metabolism may be presumed.
