Abstract Two educational issues of special relevance to twins and their families are reviewed. The first concerns newly passed legislation in the state of Minnesota allowing multiple birth parents to decide if their children should be placed in the same or separate classrooms. The second concerns a professor's accusations of identical twins' academic misconduct, based upon the twins' similar test performance. Next, reviews of timely research in the areas of religiosity, disease, conjoined twinning and autism are presented. Finally, some recent events featuring well-known twins are presented.
